We are always being asked this. And we have listened.
It’s too easy to think of a campervan as a hotel room. You check in after 3pm and check out by 11am.
We understand that a camper is so much more than a place to sleep for the night. It is your holiday. It’s your kitchen, living room, bed and transport. When it comes to holidays we all want to get started early and squeezes as much as possible out of the other end too!
Sun Kissed Campers Holidays start in the morning. You can pick up as early as 9.30am and you don’t need to return until the afternoon. Just make sure you are back in good time before we close! The last handover is 4.30pm and the office closes at 5pm.
We operate 7 days a week, so you can start and finish your holiday any day of the week, availability permitting that is.
While coronavirus is still a present threat our minimum hire is 7 days at peak season. So for example, if your holiday starts on a Tuesday morning and you wouldn’t need to return until Monday afternoon the following week. 3 day+ short hires start again from Monday 21st September 2020.

Campervan hire fee includes;
- fully comprehensive insurance (liability & collision U.S.) within Mainland UK for one driver,
- unlimited mileage,
- 24 Hour roadside assistance.
- We will safely look after your vehicle for the duration of your hire
Transport service to and from Bath Spa Train Station or Bristol Airport is available.
We operate seven days week.
Handovers are timed throughout the day, ensuring smooth collections and returns.
You will receive a full orientation of your camper upon collection. This should take approximately 3/4 of an hour.
To Book a campervan please first check the diary for availability:
Dates highlighted in Red means all our campers are already booked on those days.
Dates highlighted in Green means we have at least one camper available for hire.
Once you have selected a date please complete the provisional online booking form available by clicking here.
After we have made sure your dates are available, we will ask you to read our Standard Hire Terms, complete a full booking form and supply us with copies of your ID.
- Have held a full driving licence for at least 2 years,
- Be aged between 25 and 70
- Have no more than 6 points on their licence. (no more than 3 points added at any one time).
- A 25% deposit is needed to secure your booking.
- The remaining 75% balance is due 8 weeks before the start date of your holiday.
- Less than 8 weeks away from the start of your hire? We will require payment in full.
- The week of your hire we will send you a link to secure the damage bond of £1000. This is ring-fenced on your credit card as a delayed payment and is voided after the the safe return of the campervan and kit undamaged, fully equipped and with a full tank of diesel.
- If you return after operational hours, a late return fee may be payable.
Please note that The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply in accordance with our Standard Hire Terms.
How to pay
You can pay by Mastercard / Visa via our secure online payment system or by electronic transfer.
We love feedback. We want to constantly improve our offer, and so we welcome all suggestions, comments and thoughts.
In the unlikely event that you have a problem with the campervan, it’s contents or our service during your holiday we will do our utmost to correct this to the best of our abilities.
If, for what ever reason you are not happy with how we have handled your complaint, you have the right to refer the issue to the British Vehicle Rental & Leasing Association Conciliatory Service.
The BVRLA is approved by Government as a Consumer ADR body under the Alternative Dispute Resolution for Consumer Disputes (Competent Authorities and Information) Regulations 2015.
As a member of the BVRLA, we have signed up to a strict Code of Conduct and have agreed to honour the verdict of the impartial mediation board.
Your consumer rights will not be affected by agreeing to take your complaint to the BVRLA Conciliatory Service.
